Dreaming in Color
Music/Lyrics: Matthew Maruna

Yellow was the color of the chair that I sat in
the white walls that surrounded I felt much comfort in
the dark brown coffee brewing, the smell of pink bacon fills the air
the toaster pops the playing stops and Grandma's standing there cooking

Cerulean's the color of the chair that Grandpa sits
The orange glow from the television echos from the walls
the jokes they say he laughs away with a cackle so distinct
the program stops we sip our pops Cherokee Red the brand we drink

These times are gone forever
people places and things
they are not here anymore but still they feel so real
and when I close my eyes I pretend that I am there
It warms my heart to be a part of dreams that never fade away
